Calcined Anthracite is used as filler in production of bottom and electrode mass, cathode blocks, carbon electrodes and other carbonaceous products. 

Anthracite of Gorlovka coal-field, possessing high strength and chemical stability against molten salt, is used as raw material in production of calcined anthracite.

Anthracite calcination is implemented in rotary calciners 60 m long, 3.5 m in diameter with gas heating. Calcination temperature is 1350°C. Control over the calcination process is implemented by the automated system.

Delivery of calcined anthracite to customers is carried out in 1 t polypropylene big bags protecting the products from harmful environmental impact.
